We are a non-profit organization, established in February 2020, whose main objective is to promote the sustainable development of the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina. We focus especially on the recovery and conservation of local marine and coastal ecosystems, recognizing their vital importance for biodiversity and for the well-being of the communities living on these islands. We have five years of experience in coral reef restoration, which has allowed us to implement proven methods adapted to our conditions and to establish strategic alliances for the protection and recovery of these essential ecosystems.
We aim to become a research center that not only drives the study and preservation of our marine and coastal ecosystems, but also serves as a meeting point for different research areas. We want to create a space where researchers, academics and environmental enthusiasts can come together and collaborate on innovative projects that address both environmental needs and the philanthropic issues affecting our island community. Our efforts seek not only to restore and protect the natural environment, but also to strengthen the ties between science, community, social action and sustainable tourism, creating a positive legacy that benefits future generations of the Archipelago.
